This role would be best suited to a self-motivated and driven Scientist who is looking to grow their career outside of the laboratory.
This is not a laboratory-based role.
About the role
This is a newly created role and is responsible for providing pathogen safety support to this site as well as a number of sites overseas. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role involves:
- Assembling data and supportive documentation on pathogen safety
- Preparing spreadsheets and analysing data
- Conducting scientific literature searches
- Writing pathogen safety risk assessments, and conducting QC verification of documentation
- Actively participate on cross-functional project teams and global project teams
The successful candidate will come with a minimum masters qualification in Protein Chemistry, Virology, or related discipline. PhD graduates are very highly regarded.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is very highly regarded, specifically within biologicals, R&D or QC.
You will be a very self-motivated and driven individual, with the ability to communicate across international teams.
