An opportunity to join the team: Project Officer (Biosecurity, Living Next Door to a Farmer and other projects)

The TFGA is seeking a full-time Project Officer to coordinate and deliver a range of projects that provide direct benefit to Tasmania’s agricultural industries.

Specifically, you will have responsibility for delivery of funded Biosecurity and “Living Next Door to a Farmer” projects, coordinating each stage of the project to completion. Actively engaging with stakeholders and coordinating all aspects of project administration, communications and reporting, your ability to manage priorities, timelines, documentation and reporting activities in accordance with project deliverables will be key.

We are seeking a passionate professional who loves agriculture. You will be a natural communicator, able to build trust and rapport with a variety of stakeholders with ease, are empathetic and driven to succeed.

You will be a key part of a supportive and committed team, highly collaborative and focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for Tasmanian farmers.

This role is based from the TFGA office but you will be required to travel to other locations to fulfil the requirements of your position.

The position will be offered on a 3-year term, renewable in accordance with funding.
