The Role

The Companion Animal Business Unit within Zoetis is looking for a new high-performing veterinary sales team member to service the Gold Coast region of QLD and the Northern Territory commencing early November.  In this role you will be accountable for achieving the sales budget for your territory through sales of animal health products into veterinary clinics. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to understand veterinary clinic businesses; analyse, pursue and drive through to fruition opportunities that bring value to those businesses and collaborate to optimise the use of Zoetis products and services.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate -

• Strong selling skills with a track record of achieved & exceeded sales targets;
• A well-developed ability to analyse financial data and utilise industry, market and territory insights to identify business opportunities;
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills;
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information;
• A willingness to continue to professionally develop themselves.

Role requirements:

• To work as an individual but be a contributory member of a high-performing sales team;
• An ability to recognise and adapt to changing business needs and environments;
• Some travel including overnight stays within the territory;
• Experience in the animal health or other science/technical industry is preferred but not essential;
• Relevant tertiary education would be highly desirable.
