Description
Time for a change of scenery? Keen to come to a place that provides challenge, a great team, in a beautiful part of the country with lots of sunshine, laughs and fantastic clients? If you are a great team player with excellent communication, a high level of organisational skills and initiative and love working with great colleagues in a role with plenty of variety then this could be the job for you!
We are looking for an experienced, motivated veterinarian to help support our team of veterinarians to continue to provide excellent client service. We are looking for someone that is flexible, adaptable and is keen to muck in with the team to have a great time whilst providing a great service to our wonderful community. The majority of our role is dairy work, with increasing equine for those with an interest, and the remainder consisting mainly of sheep and beef and lifestyle work. This is the job for you if you want variety and enjoy clinical work within a fun and relaxed team. Large animal duty is separate from the companion animal side and is shared between five large animal veterinarians. Call outs over summer, autumn and winter are minimal.
Te Puke Veterinary Centre is a private practice and a shareholding is possible for the right candidate wanting to help drive the business and who is looking to be part of a clinic that wants to retain its individual special nature.
We are working towards work-life balance for all team members - however that may look for the individual – so we can work around number of days per week desired for the right candidate.
Te Puke is a great town nestled in the stunning Bay of Plenty. It is well known for being the Kiwifruit capital of the world, and is a stones throw away from all of the fabulous beaches and sea and lake-side towns in the area, such as Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, the Rotorua lakes and Taupo. The area offers a wide variety of outdoor and recreational activities including fishing, diving, water skiing, mountain biking and tramping.
