Tāwharau Ora, the School of Veterinary Sciences at Massey University, invites applications for the position of Practicing Veterinarian/Senior Practicing Veterinarian in Equine Medicine. This is a permanent, full-time position.

If you are an equine clinician with a range of experience in medicine and ambulatory practice and you are passionate about veterinary education, including clinical teaching, then this is the ideal opportunity for you.

We want to hear from anyone post-internship through to advanced Veterinarians.

In this role:

• You will provide clinical services to clients of the Equine Veterinary Clinic within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and local clients on an ambulatory basis.
• You will provide lectures, tutorials, and case-based instruction to veterinary undergraduates
• depending on appointment level, you may also contribute to course coordination and clinical roster leadership.
• Participation in clinical research and related scholarly activity is not required, but opportunities to engage in research are available if desired.

You must hold a veterinary degree registrable in New Zealand.
