  • who enjoys being around people and being ‘on the floor’ in the workplace
  • able to handle multiple requests, prioritize, and respond quickly and efficiently
  • who is personable, energetic and fun to work with

  • reliable and diligent – able to see tasks through to completion with a high attention to detail. You look ahead and stay on top of things
  • confident, intelligent, dedicated, and focused on making improvements and reaching out for new solutions
  • proactive and resourceful—you take the initiative to ask, learn, and make things happen
  • with an ability to see “the big picture” while staying aligned with the company vision
  • available to commit to the position for a minimum of 5 years
  • with qualifications in business, HR or similar preferred, but not essential.

You will be responsible for:

Managing the team:

  • Manage and support team culture for the entire staff group (veterinarians, veterinary nurses and technicians, customer-service staff and animal attendants)
  • Recruitment, induction, leave management, career development and performance management of all staff
  • Roster and payroll management

Managing client relationships

  • Monitoring and developing customer-service standards
  • Working with clients through any dispute-resolution required

Business management:

  • Facilities management
  • Financial budgeting, analysis, reporting and performance review
  • Managing IT maintenance and problem-solving
  • WH&S
  • Marketing – oversite of website and social media

Business strategy

  • Identify, create and implement strategic directives, processes and procedural initiatives
  • Promote and lead change
  • Work with practice owners to set direction to ensure that the business thrives in the long-term for the continued benefit of patients and staff
