Jetpets is looking for an Experienced Full-Time International Pet Travel Consultant to join our Sales and Customer Service Team. This role is a 9am-5pm Monday to Friday position with no weekend work required.
This role is based at our Mangere, Auckland Airport precinct location.
At Jetpets our core focus is pet travel. We love what we do, transporting thousands of pets' interstate and overseas every year and reuniting them with their friends and families.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
As a International Pet Travel Consultant, you will focus on delivering professionalised service and subject matter solutions that cater to our customers individual needs to ensure the customers pet reaches the destination safely.
You will be accountable for planning end-to-end travel services, which is focused on exceptional operational customer service and pet welfare. Your day-to-day duties will include direct phone and email communication with your customers, service and booking the customers pet's, travel needs, as well as arranging and coordinating the processes required for their successful relocation.
Skills and Experience
- Sales experience
- Operational customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A willingness and confidence to speak to customers on the phone
- A professional and customer service-orientated communication style, both written and verbal
- Exceptional objection handling and conflict resolution skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with a pet travel sales background, travel agent or domestic / international airfreight sales or operations (is preferable)
- Some geographical awareness and knowledge of New Zealand and overseas destinations
- Basic understanding of pet breeds
- Keyboard literacy and proficiency in MS Office / CRM systems
