• Position: Pharmacy Assistant
• Remuneration: above award remuneration
• Hours: full time 38 hours/week

What are we looking for?

• We are looking for a qualified Pharmacy Assistant that is confident working independently as well as in a group setting.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about pets, have a very high attention to detail and have a personable phone manner.
• The candidate must also work well in a vibrant team!

Day to day responsibilities:

• The role will involve assisting in the overall operation of the pharmacy side of the business, which primarily involves preparing client orders for dispensing by the pharmacists.
• Responsibilities include:
  • Pulling client files for the pharmacist to dispense
  • Calling vet clinics to request prescription amendments
  • Matching original prescriptions with client files
  • Explaining the process of ordering medication to new customers
  • Other general office and pharmacy administration tasks
• The candidate will report to the office manager
