About the Position
The Pest Animal Management Officer is part of a small Invasive Animals team within the Vector and Biosecurity Services Unit. This position will be responsible for delivering a range of scientifically based pest animal surveillance and management programs to protect the City's residents, visitors and natural environment.
The successful applicant will be required to work in remote areas. They will also be required to regularly work outside of normal business hours, depending on program requirements.
About You
You will have extensive experience in the delivery and review of integrated pest animal management programs. You'll also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with relevant stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes. You will know how to work both autonomously and in a small team to manage conflicting priorities skilfully.
