Two vacancies are available in either Katherine or Darwin subject to negotiation with the successful applicants.
Northern Australia People Capacity and Response Network (NAPCaRN) is a collaborative approach to building and maintaining capacity and capability across northern Australia to manage the dynamic and increasing risk of biosecurity incursions. The program is focused on attracting and retaining skilled experts, while also growing local talent through training and development programs.
The role will operate under the NT Department of Agriculture and Fisheries to deliver on veterinary biosecurity services and projects; and provide professional support within the team and to animal owners and producers. The role is expected to be flexible in responding to urgent animal health events; and may be required to contribute to a number of animal health projects to achieve outcomes against relevant NT and national biosecurity priorities.
