Finn Pathologists (Harleston)
We are delighted to be offering the opportunity to join the Microbiology team here at Finn Pathologists. Finn Pathologists is a veterinary diagnostic laboratory providing diagnostic support the veterinary practices all over the UK and internationally. The Microbiology department process around 1000 samples per week, helping to diagnose bacterial, fungal and parasitic infections.
This is an excellent opportunity to be a permanent part of our team performing interesting, and varied tasks, in a fast-paced environment as part of a hardworking team. Full training is provided with the opportunity to progress through our structured training program to become a senior laboratory assistant.
The role would be on a part-time basis, 3/ days a week, including Saturday morning. We are able to be flexible on other hours and days worked to fit around other commitments. An ideal candidate will have a passion for science and/or the veterinary industry and as well as:
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- IT Literate
- Keen to learn new skills
- Have the ability to communicate clearly (both written and verbally)
- Be able to follow instructions and procedures
- Enjoy problem solving and critical thinking
