The opportunity

TAFE NSW is looking for suitability qualified, experienced, and passionate subject matter experts in Animal Care and Vet Nursing to join our team. Working within excellent teaching facilities, you will share your industry knowledge and expertise and deliver educational programs with an engaged student cohort and peers.

About you

You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • One or more of the following or higher-level relevant qualification/s:
    • Certificate III in Animal Studies or Certificate III in Animal Care Services
    • Certificate III in Captive Animals or CIII in Wildlife and Exhibited Animal Care
    • Certificate III in Companion Animal Services or
    • Certificate IV in Vet Nursing
  • Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or TAE40110 with additional upgrade units, or equivalent?
  • At least three years post-qualification Animal Care experience in industry and demonstrated relevant currency.
  • Ability to meet the essential requirements as per the position description
