Veterinary Nurse Part Time  Artarmon Location

Eye Clinic for Animals are looking for a driven and enthusiastic veterinary nurse to join our close knit team of ophthalmology nurses.

The Eye Clinic for Animals is a growing clinic with a strong focus on work/life balance, and creating a positive and fun working environment. Due to our continued rapid growth and demand, we are looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic nurse who is ready to take their skills to the next level, for this busy and varied role.

We have a strong focus on creating and cultivating a pro mental health workplace for our team. Ophthalmology specific training will be provided, along with ongoing support from our Nurses, Specialists and Admin.

We are located within our own custom built ophthamology hospital in Artarmon, as well as our Yagoona location. Majority of shifts would be at Artarmon, but a willingness to move between locations would be needed.

Flexible work arrangements available for part time (3 days p/w)

If you have over 2 years of hospital nursing experience and possess your Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing this may be the job for you!

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Positive and upbeat demeanour, with a great sense of humour!
• Interest in ophthalmology, with a willingness to learn
• Desire to provide the highest level of patient care
• High level of skills in: IV port placement, induction and intubation, anaesthesia monitoring, medications and dosages, surgical recovery and discharging surgical patients
• Ability to work cohesively within a team and follow directions in a busy environment
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills

Remuneration: Will be generous, well above award, and commensurate with experience
