About the Internal Medicine Team:
In the Internal Medicine, we are fortunate to have a large and diverse team of Specialist Veterinarians and Nurses, with a combined total of over a century of clinical experience. We specialise in diagnosing diseases, particularly those that are challenging to identify and those for which advanced testing may be required, this is where the help of our Nurses come into hand!
We are looking for passionate Medicine Nurses who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to your work. If you have any of the following skills, please apply!
✨A keen interest in Internal Medicine and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey.
✨ The ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.
✨ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
✨ Experience in general anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. A training program will be available to the right person to support their ongoing learning and development.
✨ Confidence working in an extremely busy environment.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
✨Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
✨ A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse.
✨ Previous experience in internal medicine would be highly regarded but is not essential.
✨ Previous experience working as a nurse in an emergency hospital would be highly regarded but is not essential.
✨ Motivation and participation in continuing education outside of paid work.
