WHAT YOU WILL GROW & MANAGE

  • This National Account Manager role will develop and implement strategies for medical channels, primarily in primary healthcare (GP’s), veterinary and dental verticals (distributors & wholesalers) and in-turn end user customers to accelerate revenue and profit growth.
  • The position will support the implementation, through segment promotion, for the product portfolio, which relates to infection control and healthcare safety products and medical devices.
  • This key role will be the national contact for medical channel partners to provide product expertise to drive user loyalty.
  • You will be responsible for achieving sales revenue through performance monitoring, including managing stock levels and the identification of key issues and corrective plans.
  • Although not in field full-time, you will spend time face to face with medical distributors & wholesalers and customers in GP, veterinary and dental clinics, as the product expert, adhering to call-cycles, meeting KPI’s, primarily managing existing customers, however, also identifying new business.
  • You will support marketing with strategies for your vertical markets and with conferences and any advertising required.

 

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE JOB

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales in the medical/healthcare sector, preferably in allied health, GP or dental sales, with experience working with distributors.
  • Ability to travel, once per month, for a few days at a time, (this role is both in-field and office based – hybrid work model).
  • Demonstrated experience selling to and managing wholesalers/medical distributors.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-function collaboration, in particular, with forecasting and supply replenishment.
  • Excel and analytical skills in gathering data from multiple sources and eliciting key interpretive outcomes.
  • Negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Good presentation skills.
