About the position:
We are looking for a Radiation and Medical Oncology Nurse to join our established and experienced team.
You will be assisting with our patients journeys from consult to procedure and imaging, through to treatment and discharge. SASH places a huge emphasis on the continuous training and development of our people and our nursing team is no exception.

About You:
We are looking for a passionate nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A keen interest in Medical Oncology and specialist nursing, with a willingness to learn and progress
• Certificate 4 in Vet Nursing with a minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Veterinary Nurse
• Excellent venepuncture skills and confidence with anaesthesia and monitoring sedations
• Excellent feline handling skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently with demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to empathise and communicate effectively with clients

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience as a specialist nurse or within Medicine or Oncology
• Understand the importance of safe chemotherapy handling and administrative protocols
