Description
Worldwide Vets is an organisation providing support to vet clinics and animal conservation projects around the globe. Our work over the last 11 year has spanned 15+ countries. Through our volunteer programmes we provide a safe environment for international and local vets, nurses, students, and animal lovers to develop industry relevant skills and explore new cultures, whilst helping animals in need.
This is a remote (online) role, you will be able to work from any location. A digital nomad lifestyle. Our new team member will enjoy funded annual travel to our projects to further understand and support them, whilst gathering promotional material.
Applicant requirements:

No veterinary qualification needed

A love of travel and animals

Strong computer literacy (inc Microsoft programmes)

A flare for social media and content creation

Fluent spoken and written English

Marketing and sales experience (ideally in the travel industry)

Web design experience (Wix/WordPress) an advantage

Reliable and self-motivated, with impeccable attention to detail

Good time management and the ability to follow up on numerous enquiries, while maintaining a personable approach and good customer service.

Managing volunteer bookings

Assisting with trip planning for volunteers

As a close knit and dynamic company, you must be willing to be involved in all areas of our work including document creation, marketing strategies, industry research etc.
Duration and hours
This is a flexible role that requires daily assessment of volunteer enquiries and delegated tasks. A candidate can expect this role to fill between 10 and 30 hours a week, dependant on the season, enquiries, and marketing campaigns. An initial one-month probation period will be undertaken, followed by a further 2 month probation, before a longer contract discussed.
Salary
This is a commission based role, with a base salary of £500 per month, rising with candidate experience, and an additional 7% commission of gross profit per booking, open for review at the end of the probation period and annually thereafter.
