Northern Tablelands Local Land Services (LLS) have an opportunity within their leadership team for a motivated individual to make their mark. The role is a Manager Land Services, and will join the leadership team in driving an inclusive, collaborative culture across your direct team of staff and the broader Northern Tablelands LLS business to achieve success.
As a leadership role within the Northern Tablelands LLS, you will support our people in ensuring high standards of communication, collaboration between teams, performance, program and project delivery, planning and budget management.
As the Manager, Land Services you will support and lead a team of staff working on Travelling Stock Reserves, natural resource management and the environment including providing a service to landholders under the Land Management Framework. The Northern Tablelands LLS approach to Aboriginal community engagement and cultural heritage management, plus strategy and monitoring and evaluation will also be supported through this role.
As a people leader, you will be responsible for providing support to staff through mentoring, training and development, resolution of grievances, performance and conduct. You will guide your team in the services and programs they deliver to ensure staff are empowered to make decisions whilst also being collaborative with colleagues and stakeholders. Your leadership will be a key to the development of these teams and the positive outcomes they deliver.
The projects and programs across these functions are complex and varied and the outcomes they deliver are a critical component of the LLS Business. Your role will be to ensure that the projects and programs that we engage in are delivering value to our front line customers, our landholders, the region and are in line with our organisational strategic objectives.
To be the successful applicant within this role you will be a proven leader with the ability to influence across all levels of a business unit. You will have detailed experience in managing people, programs and projects in the context of agriculture, environment and people of rural and regional NSW. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability inspire direction and purpose in the people you lead and manage.

Local Land Services (LLS) was established in January 2014 to provide quality, customer focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. The organisation brings together the agricultural advice, biosecurity, natural resource management, emergency services and Soil Conservation Service functions previously provided by 28 organisations into a single organisation comprising around 950 staff with a budget of approximately $225 million.
