- Working with industry partners and other stakeholders on collaborative solutions to bolster animal welfare through the supply chain
- Consulting members in the development of policy positions and strategies with regards to animal welfare, traceability, biosecurity and food safety
- Representing AMIC members at industry-government forums which maintain Australia's red meat industry integrity systems
- Advocating for fit for purpose modernisation of industry integrity systems which accommodates the operating environment of AMIC members and meets future customer requirements
- Providing animal health and food safety advice with regards technical market access matters and the development of associated policy positions
This role is ideal for someone with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, who can apply technical expertise to provide strategic advice and solutions. The successful individual will work as part of a close-knit team servicing AMIC’s processor and exporter members.
This role is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to expand their expertise, build their profile in the red meat sector and make a real impact.
