Description

Moulton is a land-based College based in rural Northamptonshire. We offer impressive new facilities, on-site commercial enterprise and a range of FE and HE courses. We are looking for a Lecturer – Veterinary Industry to teach, train and assess students and other client groups.

This is a 22.5 hours a week maternity cover post.

You will deliver Veterinary Industry courses whilst participating in Curriculum development to meet the needs of changing industrial demand and College development. You will also tutor and manage one or more courses or groups of students and participate in demonstrations and practical activities.

Applicants will have experience working in a veterinary practice and relevant Animal Health industry knowledge. Experience of working within the Higher Education/Further Education sector or with young people is an advantage but is not essential as full training would be given.

Applicants should be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) and ideally hold a BSc level or equivalent in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Science related subject and have an excellent knowledge base.

You will hold or be willing to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent.
