- Continuing, Full time
- Level B/C/D - $102,486 to $165,866 pa (plus 17% superannuation)

We are currently seeking an experienced livestock veterinarian with excellent clinical knowledge and skills to contribute to delivering education, research and industry engagement relevant to livestock health and production.
The appointee will substantially contribute to teaching in the veterinary undergraduate program and other courses delivered by the School through varied delivery models, whilst undertaking academic administration and contributing to ongoing curriculum development. The appointee will be expected to teach clinical practical classes involving cattle and sheep, and Problem Based Leaning (PBL) modules involving production animal cases. The appointee will also actively engage with livestock industries and contribute to the coordination and/or delivery of on-farm visits incorporating clinical teaching as required.
Appointment at Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor will require the appointee to contribute to leadership in learning and teaching and research within the discipline.
To be successful you will have:
- A relevant qualification appropriate to the level being applied for, or equivalent experience, accreditation and standing.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in clinical bovine and ovine veterinary procedures, and capacity to teach into clinical practical and PBL sessions relating to cattle and sheep.
- A record of achievement relevant to livestock health and production in clinical practice, the scholarship of teaching and/or research appropriate to the level being applied for.
- Demonstrated excellence in delivering high-quality student-centred teaching.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, provide effective leadership (level C/D), and to build strong partnerships with livestock industries.
