We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon with expertise in veterinary public health for a part-time Lecturer post. The successful applicant will join a team of fellow professionals within the School of Veterinary Medicine committed to providing excellence in teaching for the benefit of a new generation of vets.

Our Lecturers play an important role in influencing the future of the veterinary profession. As such, you will have a passion for your subject, experience of working in a veterinary public health environment, research experience in the veterinary public health field and a strong commitment to delivering excellent teaching. Previous experience in teaching and supervision of students studying veterinary sciences or related disciplines is desirable. Enthusiasm and a willingness to work flexibly and creatively in different contexts are essential, alongside excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. In the role, you will use your skills to deliver high quality teaching and assessment within the field of veterinary public health. A key focus will be to support teaching on the final year veterinary public health rotation which includes accompanying students on off-site visits as part of their veterinary training. You will also develop and contribute to impactful research projects in the field of veterinary public health.
