Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Practice (LCVP) (Small Animal / Equine Part Time 4 days a week) University of Surrey.
Collegial; Passion; Creative; Supportive; Inspiring. These are the five values of our Intramural Rotation Team here at Surrey Vet School. If you associate with these values and are interested in partnering with the profession to deliver innovative clinical veterinary education, then we have an opening for an additional LCVP within the small animal or equine sections of our team.
LCVPs act as clinical and personal tutors to our final year students, supporting their learning and facilitating their transition to new graduates, whilst also supporting practice-based trained clinical mentors in the delivery of our distributed model of clinical education.
This position would suit someone with experience in small animal and / or equine practice with additional experience working with other species being advantageous. We are looking for someone with an intuitive passion for teaching. Prior academic experience is not a prerequisite, but some teaching experience is beneficial. Due to the nature of the role and the geographical locale of our partner practices, this post would ideally suit some-one based in the South East of England. There would be a requirement to come to Guildford to teach but the role will predominantly be split between working from home and practice visits. These roles support flexible working and include generous holiday allowance.
Salary Range: plus 10% mark-up for MRCVS.
Informal enquiries are invited and should be directed to Paul Pollard (ppollard@surrey.ac.uk)
