Description

We have an opportunity to appoint a Lecturer in Animal Nutrition supporting the delivery of animal nutrition teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will also carry out high quality research in the subject area, develop a portfolio of external funding and supervise research students and staff. Areas of teaching and assessment will include but not be limited to nutrition, metabolism/metabolomics of production and companion animals (ruminants, horses, poultry, fish, cats, dogs, rabbits etc) and animal production systems.

We welcome applications from candidates who hold a PhD or equivalent clinical/research training in a relevant subject area as well as relevant research experience.

Veterinary Medicine has been rated 1st in the UK Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide. It has an excellent international reputation in teaching, clinical services and research and is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), the European Association of Establishments of Veterinary Education (EAEVE) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
