The Dairy Vet Ltd (TDV) is a progressive specialist dairy veterinary business based in Palmerston North and servicing the Manawatu, Tararua, Rangitikei and Horowhenua Districts.  Due to business growth our professional, farmer-focused, and proactive business is on the hunt for a new part-time (25 hours per week) Production Animal Technician to join our team for a fixed term, Monday 15th July to Friday 1st November 2024, with a view to being able to subsequently offer a permanent position.

As a business we are passionate about teamwork, innovation, people and, last but not least, cows!  We have a fantastic group of Veterinarians and Technicians and we are looking for a person with great attention to detail, sound technical skills, excellent animal handling skills, a focus on animal welfare and ability to communicate clearly, to join us. In addition versatility, resilience, initiative, common sense and a love of cows are essential qualities for the role.
