About the role
This is a hands-on role, for a laboratory technician to work in our media preparation area which involves media production stages for the manufacturing of live veterinary vaccines.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform large scale sterile media preparation and filtration in a sterile graded room
- Prepare and operate laboratory equipment such as pH meters & peristaltic pumps
- Autoclave media loads
- Inventory control of raw materials used
- Complete production paperwork.
Skills & experience
- Aseptic laboratory technique
- Experience working in a GMP/sterile manufacturing environment (advantageous)
- Tertiary qualification (advantageous) or equivalent commercial experience.
