Position Specifics:

• Veterinary Nurse, rostered across all departments, including referral and emergency.
• 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts, with one weekend shift every other week and the rest Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Assisting with surgeries, diagnostic procedures, and emergencies
• Monitoring and assessing patients’ conditions and responding to changes
• Communicating effectively with clients and other team members
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting all patient care activities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, or an equivalent international qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary nursing care and in either emergency or referral would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations with grace
