Vetlife is a large veterinary practice with 26 clinics throughout the South Island.  Vetlife offers a full range of veterinary services to their surrounding communities for both production and companion animals.  We currently have an opportunity for an inventory coordinator to join our Tasbay hub to help in the smooth and efficient organisation of the inventory across the clinics in the hub.  This is a part time 12 month fixed term position, 32 hours per week, based in Richmond and Motueka.

About the role:

• Coordinate inventory across Richmond, Motueka and Mapua clinics
• Order and process stock on delivery at clinics.
• Stocktakes
• Liaise with vets and other internal stakeholders on stock matters and supply companies.
• Assist with reception/customer service duties

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• You are likely to have previous experience in stock handling and/or administration
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task
•  Ideally you will have a retail/customer service background and knowledge of the veterinary industry or a farming background would be an advantage
• You will be confident working with computers and have an organised and methodical approach to your work.
