We are looking for enthusiastic confident candidates for our 12-month Small Animal Internal Medicine internship programme to join our friendly and supportive team of Medicine Diplomates, clinicians, residents, nurses and animal care assistants.

The Opportunity:

Our 12-month medicine internship programme provides an opportunity for recently-qualified veterinarians or veterinarians who have already done a rotating internship and are looking for more specialist internal medicine experience to receive high-quality postgraduate training in small animal medicine.  The intern(s) will gain extensive clinical experience in managing medicine patients whilst working alongside board-certified specialists (European and American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine: ECVIM and ACVIM) and senior clinical scholars (residents of the ECVIM). This provides them with an opportunity to participate in specialist veterinary discipline care and can allow preparation for a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship programme, a career in research, academia or specialist clinical medicine.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Member of RCVS
  • Appropriate English language qualifications
  • Ability to work in the UK – please check right to work pages (via link above). Applicants should ensure they have fully read and understood the UK Immigration criteria required to apply for this position.
