A position has opened within the Technology team as one of our team is off for a European adventure resulting in the team looking for an Implementation Specialist.  Someone from within the Veterinary Industry that is looking for a change in direction, looking for some travel and with quarterly team activities – from barefoot bowls to Axe throwing with a tonne of fun in-between.

You would be located in our gorgeous Gold Coast office positioned centrally to make your daily commute as easy as possible, it’s your chance to take your lunch under the palm trees!

 

What we do?

We manage the end to end on-boarding process for our technology product, Cubex – Veterinary Inventory Management System. Training veterinary hospitals (both remotely via webinars and on-site in person) to make their businesses safer and more efficient using Cubex inventory management hardware and software. From scoping the customer’s needs, configuring their environment to ‘go live’ and post install training - our team are project managers, trainers and savvy problem solvers. Vets of all shapes and sizes want to enhance the quality of animal health care and our Implementers are the instruments that make this happen with Therian and Cubex.

 

What you’ll do

  • Travel across Australia and New Zealand (and beyond) to implement Cubex hardware and software at Vet practices, clinics & hospitals – *The role will consist of 30-40% travel.
  • Train veterinary clients and their staff, provide a thorough and engaging experience to ensure they are empowered to become masters of their Cubex solution.
  • Engage with clients through video conferencing tools for remote training sessions.
  • Build and deliver webinar-based training and configuration curriculum
  • Successful project implementations, ensuring each clinic/practice/hospital is confidently utilising Cubex and the hardware and software configuration is fit for purpose.
  • Problem solve - changing software & humans = lots of thinking on your feet to find solutions that work for the end user
  • Manage an assortment of projects all at various stages without breaking a sweat - organised and confident in your ability to manage humans through significant change.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Cubex to help craft the software, prioritise feature and fix releases, streamline processes, and generally build amazing outcomes.

 

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience working in a busy environment with strong time & project management skills.
  • Confidence in articulating complex subject matter to a range of audiences.
  • Excellent attitude, a sense of humour while cool under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable when things don’t go according to plan. Are you able to think on your feet and be comfortable dealing with curve balls.
  • Full, clean current driver's license (you will be required to drive to where our clients are based).
  • Current passport with no restrictions to travel internationally.
  • Gold Coast based or willing to relocate on your own accord to Gold Coast as this role is office based when not travelling.
  • Tech savvy and/or detailed exposure to Veterinary Practice Management Software and cloud-based software systems.
  • Most importantly, experience in the veterinary industry, Practice Managers, Nurses etc. Positions where a detailed understanding of a busy veterinary clinic workflows is highly preferred.
