We are seeking an experienced Health Programme Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term basis, ending 22 November 2024, for 15 hours per week.
Reporting to the Head of Guide Dogs, you will be responsible for maintaining the health records and all veterinary costs of the colony.
Ko wai koe | About you
An administrator who will be responsible for the accurate recording and reporting of all health issues and associated costs for our dogs. You will have;
- Experience in coordinating and organising logistics for a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce
- Experience with stock control and procurement
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to be flexible and positive in an ever changing environment
- The delivery of excellent customer service to both internal and external stake holders
- Current drivers licence or designated driver
- Willingness to represent the Blind Low Vision NZ in fundraising efforts
- Able to communicate effectively and relate well to a diverse group of colleagues, volunteers, consumers and the public in general, being sensitive to diversity and biculturalism.
- A Veterinary Nursing Qualification or equivalent is preferred
