About The Role
The ideal candidate will thrive on managing a busy clinical setting which involves:
• Working closely with the Practice Manager and Lead Vet to create a high performing team.
• Coordinating the people, operations and services of the clinic.
• Leading on all clinical nursing day of operational matters and standards of care.
• Leading on nurse mentoring and development by utilising your knowledge, our Veterinary Training Centre and Super Nurse program.
• Being highly engaged in customer experience, clinic initiatives and projects, client loyalty activities, social media, complaint resolution and compliments.
• Participating in work health and safety compliance, facilities and maintenance, assets and equipment as well as cleaning and presentation standards.
• Participating in upholding the clinics industry standards and innovation, clinical governance and strategic direction and decisions of the clinic.
About You
Cert IV Veterinary Nurse with at least 3 years' experience
Previous team leadership experience is desirable but not essential
Be committed to high standards of service excellence and clinical care
Experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills and are computer confident
Have strong problem solving, decision making and organisational skills
Commitment to workplace culture and wellbeing
A genuine, warm and supportive style that enjoys caring for people who care for animals
