An exciting opportunity has become available within our Vocational Teaching team for a continuing, full time Lead Teacher/Head of Course to play a key leadership role in developing and/or delivering CQUniversity’s innovative suite of Veterinary Nursing courses.

Using your extensive industry knowledge, experience in learning and teaching and CQUniversity’s strong industry connections, you will vitally contribute to training the next generation of veterinary nursing specialists by creating course content and structure that ensures a highly valuable and solid learning experience for our students.  This role is your chance to make a meaningful impact on your industry from a vocational educational perspective and to become a true leader within your profession.

 

Position Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a Graduate Certificate in Adult Education (or equivalent) or a higher-level qualification in adult education.
  • Possession of a Diploma or higher in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent vocational qualification) or a relevant higher-level qualification.
  • Current industry experience in Veterinary Nursing.
  • Demonstrated capacity for best practice in the management of teaching and learning activities including delivery, assessment and evaluation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to deliver flexible, responsive and quality client service.
