Hey everyone! We have a maternity leave position coming up that will continue on once our nurse returns. This will start in October, so we can give you on-the-job training with our amazing nurse before she heads off for her 12-month maternity leave.

We are seeking a full-time nurse to join our team of over 30 staff - Vets, Nurses and support staff for approximately 38 hours per week.

Melville Animal Hospital is a busy, well-established clinic in the southern suburbs of Perth. We are a well-equipped clinic with digital x-ray, in-house IDEXX machines, fluid pumps, monitoring equipment, ultrasound and digital dental x-ray. We pride ourselves on the highest quality of care for our clients and patients.

We are looking for someone with the following;

• The ability to work both sole charge and as part of a team.

• Be flexible and able to work during the week and 1:4 Saturdays.

• Is enthusiastic, hardworking and happy to go the extra mile for both client and patient.

• Be an “all-rounder”, confident in surgical nursing and reception duties. (you will receive all on-the-job training and support so you can feel confident once you start the maternity leave position)

Applicants must hold a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing and be registered with the WA Veterinary Surgeons’ Board. 2 years of experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
