This position would suit a small animal vet who wants to maintain the local relationships which our clinic is known for, become part of a regional community and work as a team to provide our high standards of care. You want to ‘work hard and play hard’ and are looking for something new. Two weeks off in between to relax at home and do the things you enjoy. Great opportunity to work remotely but keep your own network and interests at home.

Rather than just being a locum and missing out on these key relationships you will have the opportunity to become a vital part of the community and our clinic while still maintaining the type of work/life balance you are seeking.

 

The Role:

• Permanent Part-Time FIFO: 2 weeks on/off
• Travel (from the east coast), accommodation and car provided
• 12-month contract
• $800/day
• 8.5-day fortnight- time off to explore our beautiful region
• After hours loading paid per shift and 50% of professional on call fees to add to your income
• On call shared with the team and our neighbouring Apiam clinic and triaged by our excellent Apiam triage nurses

• You are an experienced, confident vet who is ready to jump straight into the busy small animal work.

You can spend days exploring beaches, swimming in waterholes, watching dolphins and turtles, walking around the award-winning parklands or having dinner at beautiful East Shores. Enjoy the buzz and shops of a large regional centre along with the laid-back coastal atmosphere of central Queensland.
