Are you passionate about providing top-notch care to our feline friends? We are a well-established, cat-only hospital located in Melbourne. Our mission is to provide compassionate, specialized care for cats in a stress-free and comfortable environment.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic veterinary professionals to join our team for our new Richmond facility opening late 2024.
Position Overview:
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work exclusively with cats, focusing on their unique healthcare needs and providing the highest standard of veterinary care in a low-stress environment.
Our hospital will be equipped with high-end technology (digital radiology, CT scan, respiratory, otic and gastrointestinal endoscopy, radioiodine facility, CO2 surgical laser, full dental suite including digital dental radiology) and staffed by a team of dedicated cat lovers 24-hours a day. Purchase of other equipment for specific specialties such as fluoroscopy, operating microscope, ophthalmological equipment etc will be considered on an as needs basis.

Key Roles:
- Internship training positions in feline medicine under the guidance of Dr Carolyn O’Brien (Registered Specialist in Feline Medicine)
- General practice veterinarians – all experience levels will be considered.
- Specialist, residency-trained or special-interest veterinarians in the following fields:
o Feline or Small Animal Medicine
o Dentistry
o Dermatology
o Ophthalmology
o Surgery
o Behaviour
Qualifications:
- DVM/BVSc or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- State licensure and eligibility to practice veterinary medicine in Victoria, Australia.
- Passion for feline medicine and a strong commitment to feline welfare.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in a feline-focused clinic or hospital is a plus.
