EXPERIENCED VETERINARY SURGEON ( Clinical Director option ) - Swindon, Wiltshire

Small animal surgeon required with a passion for general practice and a plan to further their career with structured CPD leading to certification if desired. You get to work in one of the best first opinion practices in the area . We have all the usual kit that makes life easy but also the extras that make practice fun and challenging. (in-house lab, critical care testing and monitoring, rigid and flexible endoscopy, PRP/Stem cell therapy, therapeutic laser.

£50,000 - 65,000 starting salary up to £85,000 for clinical director/ senior position.

JOB ROLE

• Veterinary surgeon able to cope with medical and surgical cases.
• Freedom to define your own position within the clinic ideally with a special interest.
• Role of Clinical director with overall responsibility for the clinical team an option to be discussed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Quality of experience more important than quantity but would expect suitable candidate to have a few years’ experience in practice.
• Further qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Medical and surgical veterinary surgeon
• Ability to coach others in the veterinary team.

The details

• 4 day week 9am till 6:30pm plus one in four Saturdays 9-12am
• Additional 1 in 4 rota for hospitalised patient care.
• Emergency work taken by Vets Now.
• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

• Starting salary: £50,000 - £85,000, annual reviews
