Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled, full-time Veterinary Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in veterinary nursing and is looking to bring their expertise to a busy and rewarding environment. Orthopedic experience is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and execution of surgeries, particularly orthopedic procedures.
• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients throughout all stages of treatment.
• Administer medications and closely monitor patient recovery.
• Maintain meticulous medical records using Vision software.
• Collaborate effectively with veterinarians and other veterinary nurses to deliver the highest standard of care.
• Provide client education on post-operative care and overall animal health.
• Be available for after-hours and weekend on-call duties as required.

Essential Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Orthopedic experience is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in using Vision software or a similar veterinary management system.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Availability for after-hours and weekend on-call duties.
