Northfield Veterinary Clinic is an independent small animal clinic established in 1971.  We are a city based clinic with a country practice feel and are starting the next exciting chapter in the clinic’s 50+ year history – we have just moved into our brand new purpose built building and are all very excited!

We are offering between 15-30 hours per week, with flexibility in the roster and the potential for more (or less) hours for the right person. Rostered hours can be between 8:30am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday and will include one in four Saturday mornings (8:30-11:30am).  Remuneration is negotiable and dependent on experience and skill set.

What we are looking for:

• A passionate individual who is keen to make a positive difference in the lives of their patients and their families.
• Someone who is keen to be involved in a number of different areas of the clinic, including surgical nursing, nurse consults, team based vet-nurse consulting, in-hospital patient care, assisting with ultrasounds, dental nursing and helping the reception team as needed.
• A nurse who has a good work ethic, is a team player, has excellent communication skills, shows initiative and the ability to multi-task, and above all - is down to earth and will fit in well with our easy going friendly team who have each other's back.
• The successful candidate must hold a minimum Certificate IV qualification and will be confident in their nursing skills.
