About the role

As an Equine Retail Sales Assistant at Marsh Carney Saddlery, you will be joining a dynamic and passionate team in our Scone, NSW location. This full-time position will provide you with invaluable hands-on experience in the equine retail industry, allowing you to develop expertise in product knowledge, customer service, and sales. You'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional experiences to our horse-loving clientele.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and personalised customer service to clients
• Assisting customers in selecting the right products for their equine needs
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing retail space
• Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
• Learning about the latest trends, products, and innovations in the equine industry
• Participating in ongoing training to develop your product expertise including a registered formal traineeship with a local provider
• Supporting the wider team in achieving store and company objectives

What we're looking for

• A genuine passion for horses and the equine industry
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• This is a full-time position including Saturdays
• A willingness to learn and grow within the role
