Veterinary Record Open is a journal dedicated to publishing original  veterinary research across a range of topic areas. Original research and study protocols considered to be coherent and technically sound from all disciplines of veterinary interest will be considered.

 

Vet Record Open is an open access, continuous publication journal of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) with a global audience.

The role

We seek an Editor that understands the impact that a high-quality scholarly journal can have on improving knowledge and practice in veterinary medicine.

 

This individual should have stature in the field of veterinary medicine, a good publication record and experience of working in an editorial role for an academic journal. Editorial support and training will be provided, as well as an annual honorarium. The Editor should expect to spend the equivalent of up to one working day in total each week on journal-related activities. An interest, or experience, in open access publishing would be an advantage.

 

Joint applications will be considered from two or more individuals willing to act as a team. Applicants may be based anywhere.
