Having enjoyed strong growth in recent years, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Dog Behaviour Consultant to join our team. This is a casual position where you will be required to service customers in their home, or at a local park. You will play a key role in delivering our well-established training packages to help owners address behavioural issues in their canine companions.
You will need to have your own transport, and your own helper / demonstration dog would be a great asset.
About the Role
- Delivering customised training plans and strategies to help owners modify their dog's behaviour
- Providing one-on-one training sessions and follow-up support to ensure the successful implementation of the behavioural plan
- Collaborating with the wider team to deliver a comprehensive suite of services to our clients
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in dog behaviour and training
- Maintaining detailed records and reporting on the progress of each client case
About You
- Dog training or behaviour qualifications - CASI, NDTF, Delta or Certification CBCC etc.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a dog trainer or behaviour consultant
- In-depth knowledge of canine behaviour modification, particularly aggression & reactivity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with both dogs and their owners
- Flexibility to work a casual schedule, which will involve evenings and weekends
