Central West Local Land Services are keen to hear from qualified veterinarians interested in joining the team in the Central West LLS region. As a District Veterinarian with LLS you’ll be part of a supportive and experienced team of veterinarians and biosecurity officers who undertake in the field prevention, preparedness, detection and response activities for animal biosecurity and animal welfare. At LLS we believe in working together so teamwork is a must, whilst providing exceptional client services.

As these positions are based both in the office and the field, you’ll need to be comfortable and able to work outside in all conditions when required and have good physical fitness to undertake what can be at times strenuous physical work.

The Central West Local Land Services region extends from the slopes of Grenfell, Wellington and Coonabarabran to the plains of Condobolin, Nyngan and Coonamble. The warm welcoming community is what make the central west region such a special place to live and work.

What you need:

  • A degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW, are (or can be) registered with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board, and
  • A current NSW Driver Licence, with the capacity and willingness to travel throughout the region as required.
