Description
DAIRY HERD HEALTH TECHNICIAN is required at Jelbart Dairy Pty Ltd in Leongatha South VIC 3953 to supervise the milking procedures, analyse herd recording data, keep sound records, and provide herd health advice to the owner. Also, to assist the associated veterinarians, agricultural scientists and consultants in areas such as dairy herd research, cattle health nutrition and milk production. The Dairy Herd Health Technician will also be required to advise and assist with the AI breeding program including the embryo transfer and harvesting from selected animals. The skill level required is a Diploma or higher qualification, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience. An additional two years of post-qualification work experience is desired.
