Customer Service Representative - Pet Supplies!

Central Pet is a division of the Cenversa group of companies, specialising in the distribution of high-quality products across all pet needs.

About the role:

Central Pet is a national, dynamic wholesaler of pet products, supplying to pet product retailers across Australia. We pride ourselves on our customer service excellence and are looking to add to our team. This role will see you lead the team, maximise sales and product opportunities via phone, email or fax and to provide customer service excellence.

 

About the role

  • Promote the organisations products and services by telephone, fax or email within company guidelines.
  • Follow up overdue customer deliveries and advise clients accordingly.
  • Adhere to schedules for sales, reporting and ensure objectives are met.
  • Supervise team as required
  • Coordinate team resources to achieve companies objectives
  • Coordinate reporting on set criteria
  • Liaise with key customers as required
  • Coordinate National Sales Team requirements within the Customer Care responsibilities
  • Maximise sales to clients by ‘up-selling’ products on special, advising of quantity breaks and promotional programs.
  • To inform clients of backorders and stock problems on their account.
  • Maintain and update customer/product database.
  • Handle sales or service telephone/internet enquiries.
  • Make outbound calls to existing or prospective customers.
  • Achieve sales and/or productivity targets.
  • Process orders received via telephone, fax or electronically.
  • Receive and process credit notes for clients.
  • Process direct sales, quotes, prices and arrange deliveries in accordance with company practices and warehouse despatch deadlines.
  • Report KPIs and manage team accordingly
  • Update pricing records
  • Update customers on price changes
  • Weekly & Monthly reports

 

About you

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Previous experience in the pet, vet or animal industries advantageous
  • Supervisory experience advantageous
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to multi task whilst working to strict deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
