About us:
Vetpath (a subsidiary of Western Diagnostic Pathology) is a specialist veterinary laboratory dedicated to providing a first class diagnostic pathology service to veterinarians. The service offers a wide range of veterinary testing, including biochemistry and haematology, microbiology, endocrinology, serology, histopathology and cytology.
About the position:
Reporting to the Business Manager, we are currently seeking permanent, full time Customer Care Team Supervisor. Working 76hrs per fortnight the successful applicant will possess the flexibility to participate in a rotating roster of morning and evening shifts.
Key responsibilities of this role
- Management of the customer care team (4 FTE).
- Work with operational team members to manage customer and laboratory expectations
- Resolve enquiries from clients and escalate if required
- Provide support with non-conformance administration
- Create and maintain customer service procedures, policies and standards
- Participate in data entry and answering of phones.
- Contribute to the administration of accounts.
- Rostering of customer care team.
- Participate in a rotating roster including Saturdays.
To be successful for the role, the candidate will need to possess
- Previous experience in a similar position (in veterinary or pathology field an advantage)
- Significant experience in a customer facing role
- The ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
- Experience in a busy reception/administrative role
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Excel
- Previous experience with MYOB advantage not essential
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Strong customer service management background
- A level of initiative and be self-driven
