Whether in a teaching & learning role, or a current management position, you’ll be inspiring our learners and developing the facility into a centre of excellence for the Landbased provision.

In the role of Curriculum Area Manager, you’ll predominantly be based at the Taylor Hill Centre and your focus will be on leading on the successful delivery of the animal care, agriculture and Landbased curriculum.

Your key responsibilities will be to develop and manage a team of Lecturers, Technicians and Support staff to provide an outstanding learning experience for our students. Driving excellence in teaching and assessment, motivating and inspiring staff to ensure continuous improvement and contributing to the delivery of the college strategic goals.

Ideally, you’ll have curriculum management experience with a demonstrable track record of raising standards but this could equally be an ideal opportunity for an aspiring manager to demonstrate that they are ready to make the step up where you will be fully supported. You will have a minimum off a Level 5 Teaching Qualification and a degree in Animal management or a Land-based qualification (or be able to prove equivalent ability).

It’s important that you’re able to communicate effectively and engage with young people and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
