Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a companion animal veterinarian to join our team. MVS Small Animals is proud to be a local, family-owned business in the bustling town of Matamata.
The MVS small animal team:
You will be joining three other companion animal veterinarians, and six fully qualified NZVNA-accredited veterinary nurses who make up a friendly supportive team. Our practice has a positive culture of quality service to the client, dedicated patient care, and teamwork.
The small animal clinic is modern and well equipped with excellent surgical facilities, including but not limited to: an in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital X-ray, MyLAB ultrasound machine, endoscopy, an IM3 dental cart, dental X-ray. We are also NZVA BESTPRACTICE-accredited.
About the role:
- We require a veterinarian with an amazing attitude and excellent interpersonal skills, who is committed to providing a high standard of care.
- We can tailor this role to your personal preferences around consulting and surgery.
- Veterinarians are supported by experienced veterinary nurses to enable maximum efficiencies of veterinarians.
- There is no emergency after-hours component to this role, the clinic is open 8am to 5pm weekdays, with a late-night Thursday night till 7pm, and Saturday mornings till midday.
- We require a full-time veterinarian but are happy to make up the role with two part-time veterinarians.
