The Opportunity
With a growing diverse portfolio of quality animal products Dechra Veterinary Products in Australia and New Zealand is expanding. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Veterinarian (companion animal products) to work with our ANZ teams to grow business domestically and with Dechra’s export clients in South East Asia.
The Challenge
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Drive sales growth through technically educating internal and external stakeholders across ANZSEA
- Utilise mutually beneficial relationships to increase Dechra’s reputation in the market
- Provide commercially sound input into marketing campaigns
- Assist in possible product development or pipeline and licencing opportunities within the ANZSEA region.
About You

- Tertiary qualifications in veterinary science, essential
- Commercially astute with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Relevant clinical and commercial experience
- Current veterinary registration
- Demonstrated public speaking experience at a national/international level
- High level of negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Existing contacts with National Key Account Managers would be highly regarded
- High interest / additional qualification in endocrinology, dermatology, or anaesthetics (desirable)
A competitive remuneration and bonus package is on offer (based on experience). Location is flexible and national/international travel will be required.
