About the role

We are currently seeking Cloacal Chick Sexers for our Hatchery in Goulburn NSW (which is located two hours drive from Sydney and only one hour from Canberra) on a permanent basis.

Working days and hours are dependent on the hatch schedule and this will change on a week-to-week basis. Typically this role requires early starts from around 5.30 am, although the working day generally is finished by 2.00 pm.

What we're looking for

The successful applicant will be one of a team of Sexers who will sex day-old Ross breeder chicks. Proven experience in a high-volume hatchery is essential. A demonstrated skill level providing 98% accuracy, 48.5% sexing split and a minimum sexing rate of 900 chicks per hour is imperative.

What's on offer

Remuneration for this full-time position ranges from AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 depending on skill and experience and there is an ability to increase annual remuneration based on an assessment of competence and performance in the job after 12 months.
